Perdu Beer

A Taste of Sourdough & Sustainability

At our restaurant, we believe that every ingredient has the potential to create something extraordinary. Perdu Beer is our tribute to this belief—a craft beer born from a commitment to sustainability and a passion for artisanal brewing.

From Sourdough to Something Special

Perdu Beer begins its journey in our kitchen, where we carefully transform unused organic UK grain sourdough that would otherwise go to waste. Instead of discarding this deliciously tangy dough, we repurpose it into a unique brew that captures the essence of our restaurant’s creativity and resourcefulness.

Home-Grown, Handcrafted

Brewed in small batches right here in Tiverton, Perdu Beer is as local as it gets. Our team has perfected the art of brewing with sourdough, crafting a beer that’s both distinct in flavor and rich in character. Each bottle reflects the care and craftsmanship that goes into every stage of production—from fermenting to bottling.

Cheers to something truly special!

With its slightly sour notes and a smooth, malty finish, Perdu Beer is more than just a drink—it’s an experience. Perfectly paired with our menu or enjoyed on its own, this beer is a testament to our dedication to reducing waste and creating something beautiful from what might have been lost.

Wylde Cider

A wilder taste of tradition.

At our restaurant, we pride ourselves on crafting unique, local flavors that celebrate the richness of our surroundings. Wylde Cider is a perfect example of this philosophy in action—a cider made using apples sourced directly from orchards in our village and the surrounding local area.

Handpicked with Love

Every apple used in our Wylde Ferment Cider is handpicked by our restaurant team, along with their families, and even our loyal customers, both children and adults. This community effort ensures a truly special product that reflects the care and attention of everyone involved.

The Natural Fermentation Process

What sets Wylde Cider apart is our commitment to the natural fermentation process. We rely on the wild yeasts naturally present on the apples to ferment the cider, allowing the authentic flavours of the fruit to shine through without the need for added sugars or commercial yeasts. This method gives our cider a distinctive, robust character that you won’t find in mass-produced alternatives.

Enjoy Wylde Ferment Cider at Our Restaurant or at Home

our village’s heritage to your table.
