Large Group Private Bookings (Thursday Evenings)

At The Lost Kitchen we offer a seasonal banquet-style menu for private hire on Thursday evenings — perfect for celebrations, gatherings or work events!

During this shared feast, generous platters of wood fired delights are served to the table for guests to enjoy together in multiples of 4.
It’s all about good food, no tricky choices and a menu that changes with the seasons.

  • All food served banquet-style, to be shared in groups of 4

To Start: Antipasti platters with a variety of outdoor-reared
rare-breed cured meats from the Southwest, seasonal pickled vegetables, sourdough bread and our delicious polenta chips.

For Main Course: Choose from sharing platters of meat or fish and a vegetarian option for everybody to get stuck into, served with roasted baby potatoes.

For Dessert: A choice of almond genoise with seasonal fruit and cream or buckwheat brownie and ice cream — served decadently to the middle of the table.

Optional Cheese Course: A curated selection of West Country cheeses served with fennel & cumin seed crackers. *£5pp supplement

  • For private hire, we require a £40pp payment in full in order to confirm a private hire so if you are thinking of going ahead with the booking then please contact the restaurant as soon as possible via events@lostkitchen.co.uk

  • On Thursday evenings we offer private hire with a seasonal banquet-style set menu for groups of minimum 40 - maximum 60.

    For private hire groups, we require a deposit.

  • We are more than happy for you to bring your own table top decorations however do not have enough space in the restaurant for anything requiring floor space.

    In the interest of the environment and other diners, we discourage glitter, confetti and any other loose decorations.

    Our maximum guest number is 12.

  • We don’t host weddings or large exclusive use for weddings.

    You may make up to 12 person booking which would be during our normal daytime service ordering on the day or pre-ordering for groups of 10 or more.

    We can not sit more than 12 people at one table comfortably.

  • An optional 10% service charge will be added to restaurant bookings as standard.

  • We offer a delicious celebration of Almond Genoise cake as part of our 3-course set party menu, however, we appreciate guests sometimes have something extra special planned.

    If you would like to bring your own cake we have a cakeage charge of £1 pp. This covers the cost of managing the crockery and serving/clearing.

    For restaurant bookings we also have a Celebration Cake Menu, please contact booking@lostkitchen.co.uk to request the menu and get back to us with your choice at least 1 week prior to your booking.

  • Lost Kitchen asks for a deposit to secure event bookings.

    Should you need to change the booking two weeks or more before the event 50% of the deposit is returnable or transferable to another date.

    With less than two weeks notice, the deposit is non-refundable.

Our maximum group booking size is 12 persons during our usual opening hours, with pre-ordering for groups of 10 and over. This is due to a number of reasons including capacity of our unique wood fired oven, how many people can sit comfortably at one table and maintaining our quality of service for all bookings.
