The restaurant can be reached either by steps with a handrail, or via a gravel ramp from the car park. The ramp has a grid base to keep the surface stable, though it is steep and may require assistance, please don't hesitate to ask a member of the team when you arrive. The terrace is also gravel. We have a dedicated accessible toilet inside the barn, and the restaurant itself is all on one level once you're through the door.
Do we cater for Allergies?
Yes, please inform us of any allergies when booking, this will allow us the best chance to manage your booking, so that you and your party are well catered for. We complete our allergy charts in conjunction with HACCP guidelines, please take a look at our menu before you visit. -
We enthusiastically welcome dogs outdoors on our terrace!
However, we can not permit dogs indoors at The Lost Kitchen. They are welcome to join you on the terrace, where we have dog bowls and fresh water. Please let us know in your booking notes if you will be bringing a dog with you.
Given neighbouring pets and livestock as well as free-range children and an open kitchen please keep dogs on leads at all times.
We ask you to take the waste with you or place it in a nearby bin.

We ask that no drones are flown over The Lost Kitchen, its gardens, or the surrounding village without prior written permission. This applies both during and outside of service hours, our location within a residential hamlet means we have a responsibility to our neighbours as well as our guests. If you have a legitimate request for aerial photography, please get in touch in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate where we can.

Yes, the whole family are welcome!
We ask that you supervise your children when visiting and ensure they are respectful of other diners, gardens and the village community. Please note the restaurant gardens are not enclosed, there is a stream running through the village and neighbouring fields, as well as big farming vehicles and cars driving past at pace.We adore babies, however, in poor weather, we have very limited space for buggies inside, if you are new to us the restaurant is long and slim and can get very busy. So it’s always worth checking if there is space, or mentioning it in the booking notes so the best table can be reserved for you and your party in advance of your arrival.
If your child is under three, we’re happy for you to bring their baby food and warm it for you in hot water, we do not have a microwave. Otherwise, we ask only food purchased at the restaurant is eaten on the premises.
We have high chairs available. If you think you will need one, please mention it when booking so it can be ready for you at your table.
Baby changing facilities are available in one of our universal toilets.
Please note we do not have a children’s menu, but do offer pizzas. All our menus are available online. -
Our phones can get quite busy at certain times, so please be patient with us. There is no one to answer calls on Monday and Tuesday. Alternatively, you can reach us by completing a booking using our online contact form, or by emailing us at eat@lostkitchen.co.uk for general enquiries, or booking@lostkitchen.co.uk for booking enquiries.
-
We offer monetary vouchers in multiples of £10.
If you are local these can be purchased at the restaurant where you will receive a printed voucher with an envelope, otherwise they can be bought online to receive a digital version via the ‘shop’ tab.

We love it when guests share their experience at The Lost Kitchen, a photo of your food or a glimpse of the barn on social media is always welcome. Please do be mindful of other diners when you do.
We occasionally photograph the restaurant during service for our own marketing, if you'd rather not appear in any images, just let a member of the team know when you arrive and we'll make sure you're kept out of shot.
For commercial photography or filming, we ask that this is always arranged with us in advance. If you're planning to capture content for professional or promotional purposes, please email us before your visit — we're usually very happy to help, we just need a heads up. For editorial features, brand shoots, or venue hire for photography outside of service hours, please contact us directly at eat@lostkitchen.co.uk.

The more advance notice we have, the better we can cater for you or your party’s needs.
Nuts are used throughout our Kitchen, however, we do not use any peanuts in any of the dishes at the restaurant. -
Gluten-free dishes are marked GF throughout the menu, and we always have a coeliac-friendly cake and pudding available. Please note we're unable to offer gluten-free pizza — our pizzas are cooked directly on the stone base of a single shared wood-fired oven.
